DIEGO CISNEROS, M.S.
School: Loyola University Maryland
Year Graduated: 2022
I’m a third-year clinical psychology student at Loyola University Maryland. My curiosity about psychology comes from a deep passion for helping both children and adults navigate the complexities of their emotional well-being, in both English and Spanish languages. I have found great fulfillment in the two years of providing psychoeducational assessments for children and adults. My goal is to provide insights that support growth and development, helping people thrive in various aspects of life, but my commitment and interest do not stop there. I’m equally dedicated to psychotherapy for adults. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate, and open environment for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. In this therapeutic environment, we can work together to foster understanding, healing, and growth. I use an integrative therapy style, drawing from a range of approaches. I have strong foundational skills in psychodynamic therapy, while incorporating evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
