As a licensed professional counselor, I bring many life experiences to the therapeutic process since I have also worked at a high school teacher and realtor. Working with clients with a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, relationship issues and trauma or emotional abuse is very fulfilling and challenging. I think it is important for a good therapist to be friendly, empathetic, a good listener and above all respectful. My approach is eclectic since I tailor our sessions to meet the specific needs of the client. I especially find satisfaction in encouraging and empowering them. I am very mindful of the fact that growing and working through issues with a therapist can be very challenging for many people. Part of my goal is to make the therapeutic process as easy and compassionate as possible.
