Initial visits begin with a comprehensive and compassionate diagnostic assessment. Diagnosis does not define you, a unique individual. Psychiatric diagnosis defines the treatable imbalance or disorder that is negatively impacting you and directs treatment options for recovery. Treatment is collaborative and based upon client preferences, concurrent somatic health considerations, wellness goals, and evidence-based clinical guidelines. Treatment may include medication management, herbal or dietary supplementation, parenting interventions, IEP/504/accommodation plan advocacy, family/couple therapy, behavioral interventions, care coordination with existing primary care provider or therapist, and/or referrals for concurrent specialist care (e.g., neurology, endocrinology, complementary and alternative medicine, psychoeducational testing, DBT). For your convenience, visits may be scheduled for in-person consultation or via Doxy, a confidential, telehealth platform.
