    As the great Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” It is important that the individuals I serve leave every session feeling hopeful for the journey ahead, because life is a journey. I ensure this through Person centered approaches, my open mindedness allows me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I connect with my clients by creating a safe haven where we assist with improving their mental wellness. I support clients as they create specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound “SMART” Goals.

    With my assistance clients can identify the areas of their lives that they would like to see improvement. I am enthusiastic about helping clients that may be experiencing a range of mental wellness concerns including anxiety, depression, couples, Bipolar, low self-esteem, family conflict, Life transitions, sexual identity, self-esteem, and any other concerns that the client may feel is prohibiting them from having positive self-growth. One of the most important goals is to assist the client with understanding the factors that contribute to having difficulties with managing any hindrance within their mental wellness. My objective is to establish a relationship that not only creates a strong bond between myself and the client but also empowers them to become the best version of themselves and create positive relationships with others and themselves. I have worked with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families in a multitude of treatment settings. With my experience as a family case manager, PRP worker, mentor, one on one aide, and family therapist intern, I have been able to distinctly identify changes and challenges in adolescent behavior, and how the family dynamic can play a major role in multiple issues that surround mental wellness.
